Evie Young Bridal x Lotte Rose is coming! The new Evie Young ‘Outback’ collection has launched and she’ll be arriving at Lotte Rose in January!
Back in January 2020 when I first started this journey to open Lotte Rose Bridal (we didn’t even have a name back then)! I had planned to visit bridal shows to meet with potential new bridal designers and soak up the bridal atmosphere. I already had a few designers that I knew were going to form part of our incredible line up and were essentially the inspiration for how our brand looks today. Hayley Paige, Riki Dalal and the Pronovias Group were going to play an important role.
As we all know 2020 didn’t play out in the way any of us had hoped so I didn’t get to meet with the designers, the shows were due to take place the week we went into lockdown part 01.
I had never envisaged that I would end up buying dresses from my computer screen, after all the look and touch is so important! With the help of our incredible designers, digital runways, endless phone calls and questions from me I built a range of dresses. Thankfully building a collection is familiar to me, this was my life for 8 years in my previous career, and so I’m incredibly excited about the selection of dresses I have to offer you.
Whilst 2020 has been disappointing and challenging for many I do feel a little bit like fate came calling for me. Without being placed on furlough Lotte Rose wouldn’t be what it is today. Many many many hours, long nights, all nights and weekends have been spent to give you ladies a bridal boutique like no other in Bedfordshire.
When I was preparing to head to the shows I had a clear idea that I wanted a cool, fun, boho brand for Lotte Rose. I had one in mind and so very nearly placed an order back in July, but something kept making me pause and I didn’t know why. There were so many gorgeous dresses but I just couldn’t click send. Then along comes Evie Young Bridal, the perfect cool boho bride addition to our designer line up, life obviously knew she was coming my way! So cheers to lockdown for making these events play out in this way. And thats the only time you’ll ever hear me say anything positive about covid life.
I will only buy what I LOVE for our rails, meh isn’t in our dictionary. It was so hard to pick our selection as every Evie gown is incredible and the level of detail in every dress is just out of this world. Selecting 8 from a choice of 44 was a tough thing. Liz Young the designer being Evie is just so talented and she really understands the modern bride. These aren’t cookie cutter dresses – which was the main criteria for my selection.
This collection offer the opporutnity to wear a gown that isn’t remotely similar to anything your friends have got married in. Dare to be different. Be confident, make a subtle and relaxed statement, turn heads!
